Equity by La Crosse 21400 Analog Alarm Clock with Night Vision Technology Review

Equity by La Crosse 21400 Analog Alarm Clock with Night Vision Technology

Only a week or two after I bought this clock, it slowed down considerably and made me miss an appointment. I gave it new batteries, and tried resetting it to the correct time on several occasions, but each time the clock once again slowed down. Obviously defective, not worth the return shipping costs.

Westclox 44530 Tourino Keywound Analog Clock Review

Westclox 44530 Tourino Keywound Analog Clock
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have had this model clock for years. Mine was recently destroyed in a flood, and I have been looking all over for a replacement. This is a simple design, easy-to-use, classic travel alarm clock.
Most travel alarms are now battery-operated. I leave my travel alarm in my suitcase, and don't take it out until I'm somewhere where I need it. I'd hate to have a travel alarm with a battery, which might let me down just when I needed it. Because this clock is wind-up, it will never have that problem.
This clock is small and sturdy, and my last one never let me down in nearly 30 years of use. My old model made a soft ticking sound, which I found was not a problem as long as I set it on a soft surface, and not near my head. I am so relieved to find that it is still in production - A CLASSIC!

Westclox Gem Black Review

Westclox Gem Black
Average Reviews:

We accidentally left our favorite TIMEX travel clock at a hotel some time ago. I have been searching for one like it, and I finally found one that comes close. The only difference is the alarm-set dial, which is now on the back of the clock...but we can deal with that. We both love the one-touch light feature that allows you to see the time in the middle of the night. The alarm-on/off switch is easy to use and has a red strip that lets you know that it's in the ON position.
My husband takes this when he travels but uses his even at home. I bought one for my travels, and an extra one as well.

Westclox Gen Quartz Travel Alarm (White) Review

Westclox Gen Quartz Travel Alarm (White)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had a travel alarm clock very similar to this one until it finally broke. I searched everywhere to find another one just like it. This small square clock (slightly over 2 inches tall) is unobtrusive. It fits easily into a suitcase. The alarm on/off button is conveniently located on top where it is easy to reach. If the alarm beep is ignored, it increases in loudness and frequency. The back dial lights up only when the corner button/snooze is pressed so there is no glow in the dark to disturb sleep. The second hand is so quiet that you can hear it only next to your ear. Simple and satisfying.

Casio #TQ140-1BDF Travel Alarm Clock Review

Casio #TQ140-1BDF Travel Alarm Clock
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My previous alarm clock was an electronic one with an atomic clock and all sorts of bells and whistles. Unfortunately, it took many steps to set or turn off the alarm, each accompanied by an annoying beep. This Casio is ideal for me. It's simple, reliable, and easy to set. Just put the alarm hand where you need it, raise the button, and it's set. If I wake up before the alarm goes off, as I usually do, all I have to do is push the button back down to turn it off, with no noise to wake my still-sleeping wife. The large numbers are easy to read, and the glow-in-the-dark paint retains its glow throughout the night. It's small enough to take traveling, and it doesn't need to be plugged in, so you can set it anywhere. As far as I'm concerned, it's the ideal alarm clock.

Chaney Instruments Sydney Alarm Clock Review

Chaney Instruments Sydney Alarm Clock
Average Reviews:

This is a wonderful good sized analog desk clock. I love it and I've only had it for 10 minutes. -Unlike most AA battery walk clocks this one is very silent - no tick tick tick to drive you crazy. - it's a simple to operate analog clock. - Note that is a oval (wide) clock and not round as in the picture, which makes it look even nicer - All the hands and numbers are luminous sure beats a digital clock! - this one for the price is a wonderful deal. Big enough for a desk but light enough for travel. Do keep it in a bag as the front face can scratch easily. It's 5" wide and 3" high (approximately). It's a comfortable attractive desk clock with no winding needed.

Bulova Lockport Alarm Clock - Faux Leather Case - Antique Gold-Tone Accents
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I like this alarm clock, but the alam but to turn it off is located on the back of the clock. It is a knob that you slide to the left or right to turn on or off. Usually when I wake up I want something that would easy to turn off, not something that I have to search for to find. I feel that if it were located on the top as a large button to just press on or off it would be the perfect clock. It is well made and very stylish.

Equity by La Crosse 33100 Electric Alarm Clock with Lighted Dial Review

Equity by La Crosse 33100 Electric Alarm Clock with Lighted Dial
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
...a low-tech electric alarm clock. I bought this as a gift for my picky mother, who was distraught that her old bedside clock--a version similar to this one--died after many years faithful service. She wanted an electric clock (with a plug, not batteries) with a lighted dial and this one filled the bill. Simple, no frills..it tells the time and wakes you up. She also likes the silent operation (no ticking) and the soft-glow (kind of a pale orange) of the clock face. The first one I sent her didn't work, but Amazon replaced promptly with no issues.

Check the time in the middle of the night on the lighted dial of this electric alarm clock. From Equity by La Crosse, the alarm clock is entirely AC powered, saving users from needing to purchase replacement batteries. The clock features a classic design with white casing and an easy-to-read analog face with black numbers. Lit by a small light bulb, the clock gives off a soft orange glow. Black clock hands point to the current hour and the minute, while a red clock hand ticks off seconds. To check the set alarm time, a smaller dial in the center of the clock's face indicate when the alarm will sound. An ascending alarm ensures the sleeper wake up, while the snooze function offers temporary relief from the loud beeps. For alarm shut-off, a button on top of the clock is provided. The electric alarm clock measures 4 inches wide by 2 inches deep by 3 inches high.

Elgin 3514E Bedside Alarm Clock Review

Elgin 3514E Bedside Alarm Clock
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this clock because when the morning sun comes in my window, it makes it impossible to read the time on my LED clock so I needed a clock with ordinary numerals to see the time in the morning. This clock looks great on my bedside table and does the job I needed it to do. I only wish it were a little bigger and heavier and I could see where someone trying to read the time in the dark may have a problem fumbling to press the button on top of the clock to turn on the face light. Five stars for my purposes, three stars for most other users needs makes it a four star clock.

Westclox Bell Ringer II Review

Westclox Bell Ringer II
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Westclox "Bell Ringer II" alarm clock is an excellent value alarm clock that really offers you a lot. The clock is easy to use and it lasts years.
Although the clock may feel or look cheaply made, don't let that fool you. It's both reliable and easy to operate. For example, all you need to do to "snooze" for another five minutes is push on that button and temporarily end that infernal racket that just made oh, so sure that you're awake! The numbers on the clock are easy to read and there is even a hand to mark the seconds. The alarm with its bell sound is neat; what a cool throwback feature to the days of alarm clocks that had to be wound up every night! I like that "retro" touch.
The hands have "glow-in-the-dark" features but in the dark they you may have to move closer to the clock to see them--they are visible in the dark but the hands are definitely not as bright as they could have been. Oh, well.
The clock runs on one C size battery--that's easy enough by me! Make sure to change the battery as frequently as every two or three months to make absolutely certain that the clock will run accurately. In addition, the clock is rather compact which makes it an ideal choice for people on the go or vacationing away from home.
Overall, for this price range you get a basic but reliable and long-lasting alarm clock by Westclox. I highly recommend this clock.

Geneva Clock Co 3076AT Advance Quartz Analog Travel Alarm Review

Geneva Clock Co 3076AT Advance Quartz Analog Travel Alarm
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Knobs fell off of back of clock within a couple of weeks and the pins sticking out were so short that you cannot adjust the time and alarm settings without these knobs. I bought this for my senior mom since she likes the analog clocks and everything around is digital. This clock was replacing the one that my mom had for about 15 years that finally broke. My mom is in a senior home across town and I was out of town for 2 weeks on business. I immediately contacted the merchant that I purchased from and informed them about how cheap the quality of this product was. The bottom line was, 30 day return/exchange policy no exceptions. Clock was thrown in the recycle (since it's pretty much plastic) and I am out the money plus shipping. I will not order from this company or clock manufacture ever again.

Seiko Travel Alarm Get Up and Glow Clock Soft Silver-Tone Metallic Case Review

Seiko Travel Alarm Get Up and Glow Clock Soft Silver-Tone Metallic Case
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I don't like it. Here's why:
1. It looks cheap. In the photo here on Amazon, it looks shiny like metal. In reality, it's a cheap-looking plastic.
2. The clock hand that sets the alarm moves in only one direction. So if you overshoot the time you want, you can't just nudge it back ... you have to go all the way around the face again.
3. It's very difficult to move the clock hand that sets the alarm. The dial for this is stiff and awkward. I have long, slender fingers and find it difficult. I imagine that someone with chubby fingers would find it impossible. Additionally, it's impossible to nudge the hand a little bit. So if you undershoot, you have to go all the way around again.
4. The hand that sets the alarm is very short, which means that the end of it is far from the numbers on the face. It's impossible to be precise about the alarm time you're setting.

15534 Loud Twin Bell Alarm Clock Review

15534 Loud Twin Bell Alarm Clock
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought one of these because power outtages are common where I live and wanted something that didn't require any "juice" to be able to read the time..and an alarm I could rely on....plus, I really liked the look. It's a cool looking clock. BUT...getting it to keep time was a challenge. It took constant adjusting and I finally got to a point where the time keeping was "ok" and quit messing with it. The real bummer? It just STOPPED RUNNING! I never overwound it...I did everything right...it just quit. It would run for an hour or so and stop...same thing over and over. DON'T buy this clock unless you want to throw away your money like I did. Plus, if it quits on you, obviously you CAN'T DEPEND ON IT! You've been warned!
