Bai Pick-Me-Up Alarm Clock, Orange Review

Bai Pick-Me-Up Alarm Clock, Orange

I just ordered my second Pick Me Up Alarm clock. My first one has been great. The alarm starts off quiet and then ramps up if you ignore it. The light is subtle enough that it doesn't blind you, but adequately lights the clock face. I like that you don't have to hit a separate snooze button - you just pick up the clock and then place it back down to activate the snooze function. It was the perfect combination of functionality and style - so that is why I'm buying #2. #1 has been thrown to the ground a few to many times by my toddler - it still works, but only if you keep the battery perfectly positioned hanging out of the electrodes. Any little jiggle and the battery contacts won't work.
An FYI - the snooze stops working if you sleep in more than an hour!!

Casio #TQ140-1BDF Travel Alarm Clock Review

Casio #TQ140-1BDF Travel Alarm Clock

My previous alarm clock was an electronic one with an atomic clock and all sorts of bells and whistles. Unfortunately, it took many steps to set or turn off the alarm, each accompanied by an annoying beep. This Casio is ideal for me. It's simple, reliable, and easy to set. Just put the alarm hand where you need it, raise the button, and it's set. If I wake up before the alarm goes off, as I usually do, all I have to do is push the button back down to turn it off, with no noise to wake my still-sleeping wife. The large numbers are easy to read, and the glow-in-the-dark paint retains its glow throughout the night. It's small enough to take traveling, and it doesn't need to be plugged in, so you can set it anywhere. As far as I'm concerned, it's the ideal alarm clock.

Bai Squeeze-Me Travel Alarm Clock, Landmark Review

Was looking for a compact alarm clock with a light. I thought the design on this one was cute and the alarm wasn't too loud, but cannot give it more than one star because less than three months after we started using it the clock stopped. Didn't drop it or anything. Very disappointed. Will not buy anything else from Bai again.

This clock doesn't have a loud tick! I hate listening to a clock all night. This one lights up when you lift it so you can check the time, and has a nice length snooze time- about 7-8 minutes I think. Comes in great colors.

Bai Designer Pick-Me-Up Alarm Clock, Cyber Lime Review

Bai Designer Pick-Me-Up Alarm Clock, Cyber Lime

I bought the Bai cyber lime alarm clock for my bedroom. It's really cute, but so flimsy that I wonder what the manufacturer was thinking.
You can hardly get the battery out of the clock and the orange bar on top comes off easily. It has no function as far as I can see. The pick-me-up feature is created by a plastic rod on the bottom that pops out when the clock is picked up and turns on the light. Can't imagine that it is durable. I didn't figure out how to set the alarm and didn't care at that point.
Needless to say, I returned the clock.

This may seem like a lot to pay for a little plastic clock, but it's a very good little plastic clock. The "titanium" color fits in pretty well with brushed nickel fixtures in bathroom. Comes in other colors as well.

Bai Pick-Me-Up Alarm Clock, Black Review

I had been looking for a small, non-electric clock for some time. This clock meets all my expectations. It is small, has a clear face with good contrast and lights up by tilting or lifting to be easily read in the dark. It has a gentle alarm sound which I like. It is available in a variety of nice colors.

Bai Pick-Me-Up Alarm Clock, Chartreuse Review

Bai Pick-Me-Up Alarm Clock, Chartreuse

I bought this clock because I wanted an analog (i.e. non-digit) alarm clock. I liked the retro look of the numerals and the pick-up light function. I had misgivings about a quartz clock, but I decided to get this one because it advertised itself as having a "UTS Ultra Quiet quartz movement." Well, this movement is not ultra quiet. I'm not even sure it's kind-of quiet. In a still bedroom at night, while trying to go to sleep, I could the tick-tick-tick of the quartz movement moving the second hand. Even in a room with some background noise (birds chirping out the window, kids playing outside), the quartz movement was audible.
So, if you want a cute, small bedside alarm clock, and if you don't mind tick-tick-tick-tick of quartz, this is probably a good choice. But if you want a totally quiet sleep space, do not buy this clock.
