LED Digital Clock Kit With Case Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This was a project for my 14 yr old son to build on a cold winter day. The instructions were step by step so the assembly was a breeze. They did short change us one L.E.D that was easily found at Digi Key. As far as the clock goes the procedure on adjusting the time is not clear so changing it is a pain in the neck. All in all it was fun for my son to do. If you have someone who is just getting into electronics it is a good buy.

(More customer reviews)This thing has had water spilled on it and has been accidentally knocked off my desk more times than I can count and it still keeps on working.

Start the day on time with the help of this basic digital alarm clock. From Equity by La Crosse, the electric clock features black plastic casing with silver function buttons on top. The clock displays the time in .7-inch high red LED digits. To distinguish between morning and evening hours, a PM indicator light is provided. Another indicator light denotes whether or not the alarm is on. For reluctant risers, the clock offers a repeating 9-minute snooze function to silence the loud beep of the alarm. The clock plugs in to any grounded outlet to run on AC power. In the event of a power outage or relocation, the clock takes one separately purchased 9-volt battery for power back-up. The clock measures 4-1/2 inches wide by 2-3/4 inches deep by 2 inches high.

Chass World Sync Time Zone Map Alarm Clock 00193 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I wanted a desk clock that would display time from different time zones and this clock fits the bill! It is good if you have love ones serving abroad or if you travel overseas a lot. It has a pretty good database including Kabul, Afghanistan which is an additional 10 hours and 30 minutes ahead of CST. It can sync with the major radio sync or "atomic clocks" around the world. Setting both zones it will take some time to get used. The main time is easy to read as is the temperature. The second time zone is a little smaller but will do. It is pretty compact and can be used as a travel clock. I've had this for a couple of weeks now and I've been happy with the product.

Timex T736S Dual Alarm Clock Radio with Time Projector and Jumbo Display Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Four and a Half ACCURATE Stars! This dual-alarm clock, with battery backup and manually-tuned AM/FM radio, sets the time "out of the box" when you plug it in: for the eastern time zone: alarming perfectly in sync with my iPhone. It has large red numbers/letters that can be seen, at night, from across the room. The AM/FM radio has very good sound for music or talk radio. The dual alarms allow for 'everyday', 'weekdays only' and 'weekends only' alarms using buzzer, radio, or "soothing sounds". The time projector can be manually rotated thru 90 degrees for wall or ceiling projection of large red 12 inch to 24 inch numbers; and the display can be inverted, focused, or turned off completely. Wake up at night and see the time on the ceiling: no eyeglasses needed for me! If they had added a 'weather' radio band that my other clock radio has, and an AM/FM remote, it would have earned this clock radio the extra half-star rating star, but that 'other' clock radio doesn't project time on the ceiling and it blinks after a power outage while the Timex automatically resets the time. I like this Timex T736S very much and it's now 'pulling duty' in a primary bedroom. Highly Recommended! Four and a half PRECISE Stars! (Rating upgraded on 8/19/2011 after a power outage that proved it's auto reset value.)

Sony ICF-C212 FM/AM Clock Radio with Full Power Back-up (Black) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got as much or more than I was expecting with this Sony clock radio. Yes, the controls are a bit cramped. Yes, the sliding "on-off-alarm" switch is a bit difficult to navigate in the dark. But it's a good looking little thing, and it had the battery back-up I was looking for, creating less chance of being late for work in the event of a power failure.
So how did I get "more" than I was expecting? This thing sounds much better than the 20 year old GE clock radio it's replacing, and it comes with an FM antenna (a small wire dangling off the back). FM and AM reception were both better than with my trusty GE, who's only drawback was that the battery only saved the time during a power failure, but wouldn't set off the alarm. A great Amazon.com price on a great little Sony clock radio!

Dosh Wallet 3 Cards with Money Clip Private Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this because I loved the design. However, when I actually got it I was surprised at how small it was. It could fit in the palm of my hand. I was hoping it would have been a little bigger and more solid. It felt light and cheap. As for functionality it doesn't stay backlit. You have to push a button to turn the backlight on rendering it impossible to see what time it is in the middle of the night. Since I was planning to use it as my alarm clock on my nightstand, it wasn't going to work. I returned it the same day I got it.

Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm in Black with Omron Healthcare Pedometer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)With due respect to Tina, who evidently has a good experience with this product, my experience is that the alarm is barely audible, and there was no doubt I would sleep right through it. From an adjoining room, my existing alarm clock was louder than this one. Unless you are a very light sleeper, and live in a rural area or a cave, I would think twice about this product actually waking you up.
Additionally, I contacted the company to arrange a return and refund, and it took two submissions through Amazon before they answered. Shipping is non-refundable, and they "might" apply a 15% re-stocking fee.

Sony ICFCD810 AM/FM CD Clock Radio Review

(More customer reviews)I wanted something economical for mother (94 years) and didn't want to spend a great deal. It was shown to be white on picture but black when arrived. However, it
was so well cared for and packaged I didn't care. Very good condition which gives me confidence in buying something used on Amazon now when desired.

Philips AJ396517 Stereo CD Clock Radio Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I thought that I had found the perfect clock radio: handsome, dual alarm that is easy to set both forwards and backwards, good sound with CD... My only complaint is the readability of the display. Despite boasting a super big blue backlight for easy reading, I find the LCD display often difficult to read. To be perfect, Philips should have stuck with a good old fashioned LED. Despite this shortcoming, the AJ396517 is arguably the best CD clock radio out there.

Click Here to see more reviews about: Philips AJ396517 Stereo CD Clock Radio

The Philips AJ396517 CD AM/FM stereo digital alarm clock features a dual alarm that can be set for two different wake-up times. You have the choice of waking up to your favorite CD, radio station, or beeper melodies. When waking to a CD, the silent CD alarm begins with a preselected track that's ready to play.
The clock is quartz controlled for accuracy. Press the repeat alarm to switch off the alarm for seven minutes at a time. The 24-hour alarm reset eliminates the need to manually reset the alarm after each use by automatically resetting the alarm function for the same time on the next day. The weekend sleeper makes sure that either one or both alarm functions are switched off during the weekends.
Using the sleep and slumber feature, you can listen to music while falling asleep without the worry of having to turn off the radio. This feature plays up to 90 minutes of music and automatically shuts off. The radio PLL tuner allows you to store up to 30 FM and AM station presets.
This clock radio has a self-powered backup. In case of an interruption in power, the clock will hold the time and alarm settings for three minutes.

Sony ICFC723 AM/FM Memory Clock Radio Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This clock came out in Korea a little over a week ago. I bought it at my favorite Korean store to use in my bedroom. It(sony) is a great American brand I always try to find American things to put in my house. I got this one because i like Sony a lot. I have had a Sony clock beofer this and it lasted for many years. I just got it yesterday and i used it last night. Even though the shape seems a little wierd with the time being to the back of the clock it did not make a very big difference. I think I actually like it better the time being not right in your face, like most other clocks have their screen at the front of their machine. This is a wounderful clock my by one of the best American companies in the WHOLE WORLD.

The Sony ICF-C723's unique, high-tech design with function controls cleverly set in the base, stands apart from ordinary clock radios because it saves nightstand space, letting you place it almost anywhere. The synthesized tuner with PLL (Phase Locked Loop) provides the most accurate drift-free tuning of AM and FM radio stations. And the five random memory presets offer convenient one-button tuning of your choice of five favorite radio stations. A dual alarm permits you to set two separate wake-up times, especially useful for working couples. And the self-power back-up maintains clock and alarm settings in case of power failure. Leave yourself wake-up messages and personal reminders on the built-in IC chip to remind yourself of that day's business and other appointments. Message will be played at wake up time (before and after alarm) helping to ensure that your message has been noted.

Sony ICFC705 AM/FM Clock Radio (White) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Nice $40 clock radio with a small footprint size that's a lot less money than some other high end brands. Lighted LCD with 3 levels of brightness and dual alarm display. Easy to use, decent single-speaker sound, good radio reception, good looks, and includes built-in line-in plug for external audio source (I use it in my bedroom and have the TV sound connected to this unit). Date and time were already preset correctly right out of the box. Very happy with this Sony clock radio and recommend it.

Radio Controlled Clock Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This multi-zone clock performed as advertised and pretty much looks like the picture. It keeps good time and automatically synchronized with a local broadcast for "atomic clock" time, although it took it a while. The clock is not backlit and needs to be placed in a location that allows light to enter from behind the display. The switch to allow daylight savings time worked instantly across all time zones. I was looking at pretty expensive multiple-zone clocks for my wife's office and this one was ridiculously low and she loves it!

jWin JL355 Dual Alarm Clock with AM/FM Radio (Black) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I liked this clock radio, as it had two alarm settings and the numbers could clearly be seen at night. However, the clock radio was shipped on February 9, 2011 and on the evening of May 16, 2011, it inexplicably died. I did everything that I could think of to get it to work again, but now it is just trash. Don't buy this radio. I can't even return it, because the seller only gave about a 30 day return window. jWin JL355 Dual Alarm Clock with AM/FM Radio (Black)

Oregon Scientific RM336PESA ECO+ Projection Clock Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I only got a chance to test this product and not to use as I returned it.
It is pure white with some green on the side. Very stylish and "green" looking. The back-up battery it came with was almost dead, but luckily there was an indicator for both: rechargeable ones (charged through solar) and regular one.
3 things I didn't like:
* No 90 degree rotation of projection image (objective, but I really needed that)
* To get continuous projection on the ceiling one has to buy the AC adapter (not included). I love having the projection at all times and for me it would make the solar battery a waste as it wouldn't be using it's accumulated energy.
* The numbers are tiny compared to those of my old model
I would recommend this product if you don't mind those aspects. It's definitely not bright to bother at night.

AudioVox RC105 Dual Wake Clock Radio with 0.9-Inch Green Display Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)For a basic alarm clock, well, it'll do at the price. The green display is so bright it lights up the room. I put tape over it to tone it down. The button to activate or deactivate the alarm is cleverly disguised as just one more of those low-profile buttons that do...What is it they do? Something, I'm sure. I put a bit of tape on top of the button so I can hit it in the morning before my eyes are open. I was sort of hoping to wake up to the radio, but the antenna is such that I can get static really clearly. After a week or so you'll probably realize that there is a button to increase the sound of the alarm bleep... fresh out of the box the volume is so low I hardly knew it was trying to wake me up. In short, it would be more expensive to return it than it is worth.
