Start the day on time with the help of this basic digital alarm clock. From Equity by La Crosse, the electric clock features black plastic casing with silver function buttons on top. The clock displays the time in .7-inch high red LED digits. To distinguish between morning and evening hours, a PM indicator light is provided. Another indicator light denotes whether or not the alarm is on. For reluctant risers, the clock offers a repeating 9-minute snooze function to silence the loud beep of the alarm. The clock plugs in to any grounded outlet to run on AC power. In the event of a power outage or relocation, the clock takes one separately purchased 9-volt battery for power back-up. The clock measures 4-1/2 inches wide by 2-3/4 inches deep by 2 inches high.

(More customer reviews)My husband and I went through 4 other alarm clocks before we settled on this one. This alarm clock provided everything that was missing in each of our previous alarm clocks. It has a large easy to read from across the room display (but can be dimmed or shut off and then on again w/a wave of the hand), has two separate alarm settings which you can set for weekdays only, weekends only, and weekdays and weekends also w/buzzer,or radio which each of the two alarms can be set to individual preference. Both alarms are displayed constantly underneith the time (which is suprisingly reasuring feature to have) and my husband likes that the alarm shut off button (radio on/off) is a big round button off to the very left side of the alarm which allows him to turn the alarm off every morning without first putting his glasses on and then hunting for the off button. I love it that once you tap the off button, it turns the alarm off for the day and then automatically resets itself to wake me up again the next day. I also have the option to not shut the alarm off and listen to the radio for an hour as I get ready for work, after which time it will shut itself off until the next day again. All in all a very good buy and well worth the money!!

(More customer reviews)This is a plug in clock with a battery backup (which is not entirely clear from the description). It is very small (definitely fits in the palm of your hand) but has a very clear LCD. I like that you can customize the color for the display but I found the basic blue shown in the picture works the best. It is perfect as a second clock for the other side of the bed--presuming there are two people.

Sony ICFC414 Sony Clock Radio Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this to replace my old alarm clock. It has a sleek design that takes up very little space. It has two alarms and can be set to radio, beeps or songs and has an adjustable snooze setting. The built in radio works well and there's a sleep setting so that if you like to fall asleep to the radio you can have it automatically shut off after a certain amount of time.
It has an adjustable brightness level, but I found its default/highest level to be suitable. At that level it's bright enough to see in the dark, but not bright enough to keep me up. The alarm is easy to wake up to and gradually gets louder on the beep setting. It automatically set itself to the correct time and date as soon as I plugged it in, all I had to do is set the time zone. It has a DST feature that can be turned off or on.
The only feature lacking is the ability to customize the alarm for either weekdays, weekends or both. It's not a big deal, especially with two alarms but it would have been nice. Overall I'm very pleased with this alarm clock.

T116P Jelly Dual Alarm Clock Review

(More customer reviews)This clock, although cute, has no connection for an iPod or any other MP3 player. Also, I don't know who would wake up to an alarm this quiet, it's basically useless. The clock itself is cute and keeps time, but what a waste of money.
