(More customer reviews)This clock is very cute. The red looks lovely in my daughter's room. However you should only buy this if you want something decorative. The alarm is horrible. It is soooooo loud it wakes up people in other bedrooms and is the most jarring and horrifying way to wake up. We are going to open up the back and see if we can dull the bell sound somewhat but as of now we haven't been able to set the alarm. :(

(More customer reviews)I actually got the blond wood, red LED combo. The LED is a little bright, so it's good that there is an "off" button. The adapter cord is a little short, so think about investing in an extension cord. Other than that, it's pretty neat and works well.

(More customer reviews)I am the type of person who has to ask what day, month, and sometimes year is it. I was hoping this was a cheap option to keep track of the day and month automatically but you have to press the button on top manually to change the day and the month. It is very attractive however with it's geometric design in attention getting white. If you work in some sort of window and/or would like to display the date for others this would be a nice option for you. The display is set back inside the shadow box a couple of inches so keep that in mind when you are deciding what angle one would be viewing it from. I decided to keep it to use as a guide for coupon book cleaning day so I have found it useful. The clock has a very loud alarm feature that took me a minute to figure out how to turn off. The alarm is the only complicated feature on this device fortunately because there were no directions inside or on the box.

Wake up on time with this battery-powered LCD alarm clock. From Equity by La Crosse, the compact clock occupies little surface space on the bedside table, and fits into a suitcase with ease for use while traveling. The alarm clock is crafted with sleek black plastic casing. On its LCD screen, black digits convey the time, while AM/PM indicators distinguish between hours before and after noon. Another indicator icon informs the user of whether or not the alarm is on. To turn on the alarm and set and adjust the time, a straightforward button interface is installed on top of the clock. Reluctant risers benefit from the clock's four-minute snooze function; the user pushes the large snooze button on top of the clock to temporarily silence the alarm. For better LCD visibility in the dark, the snooze button also activates the white backlight. This alarm clock requires the separate purchase of one AA battery. The clock measures 3-1/2 inches wide by 3 inches deep by 1-1/2 inches high.

(More customer reviews)Great price, great lime color, great size - but the clock came with the second hand off. So did the replacement clock that Amazon sent. And I saw a photo of it on another site and, you guessed it, the hand was off! I actually wouldn't have cared about the second hand, but this has happened on another clock I have and the free-floating hand eventually gets caught on one of the other hands and interferes with operation of the alarm or the time. So, I'd say hands off this clock!

It's a good option for a gift; the price and the quality (all plastic) are good. This clock uses a C battery and there's no option to connect it to power supply in the house.
