(More customer reviews)This clock is very cute. The red looks lovely in my daughter's room. However you should only buy this if you want something decorative. The alarm is horrible. It is soooooo loud it wakes up people in other bedrooms and is the most jarring and horrifying way to wake up. We are going to open up the back and see if we can dull the bell sound somewhat but as of now we haven't been able to set the alarm. :(

(More customer reviews)My old Timex clock, identical to this one except for the designed sides, finally wore out. Really wanted the same clock again. We're hard of hearing and this clock has an alarm that we can hear! It starts out with a low buzz and increases in loudness. Best clock we've found. Don't think anyone who wants a non-electric clock would ever be disappointed. Like the clean-cut design, too.

(More customer reviews)I actually got the blond wood, red LED combo. The LED is a little bright, so it's good that there is an "off" button. The adapter cord is a little short, so think about investing in an extension cord. Other than that, it's pretty neat and works well.

(More customer reviews)I am the type of person who has to ask what day, month, and sometimes year is it. I was hoping this was a cheap option to keep track of the day and month automatically but you have to press the button on top manually to change the day and the month. It is very attractive however with it's geometric design in attention getting white. If you work in some sort of window and/or would like to display the date for others this would be a nice option for you. The display is set back inside the shadow box a couple of inches so keep that in mind when you are deciding what angle one would be viewing it from. I decided to keep it to use as a guide for coupon book cleaning day so I have found it useful. The clock has a very loud alarm feature that took me a minute to figure out how to turn off. The alarm is the only complicated feature on this device fortunately because there were no directions inside or on the box.

It's a good option for a gift; the price and the quality (all plastic) are good. This clock uses a C battery and there's no option to connect it to power supply in the house. Until now the clock is working just perfect.
