(More customer reviews)First of all, I had to unscrew a teeny screw from the back just to install the 3 AAA batteries required. I did not have a screwdriver small enough so I used a pocket knife and it was very tedious at that.
Secondly I tried the alarm- it has a buzzer function and a vibrate function, but no combination of the two which is extremely annoying. The alarm is exactly like a watch alarm and for those who have heard one of those ... it's VERY faint.
There's no way the vibration would wake anyone up who is used to a regular vibrating clock..... much less intense.
The worst part about the clock (if it is possible to get worse) is that it automatically shuts off the alarm after 30 seconds!!! For both the buzzer AND vibrate function- I usually take longer than 30 seconds to wake up anyway, so this alarm would not ever be able to work for me.
If you are looking for a travel clock that is useless, takes up space in your luggage, and will never wake you up, this is the one for you! :)
I returned it immediately.
