(More customer reviews)I got this because earbuds are too annoying to wear all the time, but I can't be tied to a set of plugged-in speakers when I'm working around the house. As the title says, the sound quality is only "ok", but what can you expect from a couple-inch plastic tube with 2 itty-bitty speakers on the ends? They might've gotten a little more depth to the sound if they'd used a wooden tube, but if your MP3 player (it'll work with any MP3 player, doesn't have to be an iPod) has an equalizer, you can just beef up the lower range on the equalizer & fix the sound. It is VERY convenient to have speakers that don't have to be plugged in, and that won't break your budget trying to buy batteries. A couple things about the battery power: I haven't tested it to the full 12 hrs they claim it can go, but after 5 - 6 hrs it's still going strong; charging the unit is difficult if you're using your computer's USB ports, because the charging stops every time the computer goes on standby, so if you have an AC/USB plug, use it. It takes a while to charge the 1st time, so if it turns green after only a few minutes, you'll need to unplug & replug to get it charging again. Overall, I'm very happy with this little gadget.
