Cartier Rounded Alarm Clock - Pink Lacquer Review

(More customer reviews)I received the Cartier Rounded Pink Lacquer clock from Trade Concepts, and I am wondering if it's an authentic Cartier clock because the color is "peach" not pink. I can see a slight pink color around the edges of the clock so I don't know if the the color has faded to peach or if it started this way. If it is authentic, perhaps it's defective. While it's still very pretty, I'm not happy with the color difference--I wanted pink not peach, and since it cost close to $1,000 I'm considering returning it.
5/27/10 Update: Clock was indeed authentic Cartier (verified by a local Cartier dealer). The dealer said the clock had faded--it was most likely in a window display and faded from the sun. Trade Concepts offered to exchange it (they checked their other stock item and it was Pink) but I decided to return the clock as it was smaller than I expected. The seller issued a refund in full, with their apologies. All dealings with this seller were good. I would buy from them again.

Timex Dual Alarm Nature Sounds Clock Radio T232 Review

(More customer reviews)I've had this alarm clock for about three years. As far as alarm clocks go, it's nothing special.
The pros: It works reliably and is easy to set. The large numbers and lit snooze button are easy for me to see without my glasses.
The cons: The audio is a poor, tinny quality. I've never been able to use the radio or nature sounds because they're just awful. Also, after about two years the red finish started to wear off of the plastic around the buttons I use most frequently.
In sum, it's a perfectly serviceable alarm clock, but not worth more than about $15-$20 in my opinion.

Fulcrum Global Radio Control Travel Alarm Review

(More customer reviews)The time on this clock is automatically refreshed daily. I have used the unit in Italy. The time continually alternates between European time and British time (one hour difference). Even if I manually set the time, the refresh feature cannot be disabled. I have experimented with different locations in the house, but I can't resolve the problem. I cannot trust this clock as an alarm clock (I did once, and while the clock was correct when I went to sleep, it had gotten out of kilter by morning). It's a great idea, but it doesn't work.

Exactime Digital clock Review

(More customer reviews)Bought this to replace similar one whose projection display (after constant use over 4 or 5 or more years) had finally gone wonky. This one fits the bill. We also wanted to have the radio controlled time so that we don't have to worry about setting. We use it to set the other radio alarm clocks.
As with the previous one we had, be sure to save the manual as some of the settings are not very intuitive (but they are a bit better than the last one).
Advantages - face digit readout is actually pretty large. Main thing for use - The projection (red) is big enough that I can see it on the ceiling without glasses and without having to try to wake up too much to concentrate.
Put it on the side table with the face display pointing out to the room. Lie down on bed. The projection will be the correct orientation as you look up on the ceiling. You can rotate it around so it goes further up ceiling or down (along the axis of your torso). If you have the display face pointing at you in bed, you will have to twist your head to read projection on ceiling. So it is not used for reading the face and the display at night.
If you keep it plugged in to power, you can have the projection on all the time. (There is switch so that you can turn it on at night and on during day). If you keep it turned off (or if it is running on batteries), then projection will only go on when you hit the 'snooze' button.

Few months later.... it had the same problem (quicker) than the clock it replaced. Some of the LEDs projected stopped working - so hard to tell between 1 or 4 ,etc. Very sad, we miss having a projection clock.

Meow Cat Alarm Clock Review

(More customer reviews)There's about one million sounds that can be generated from a feline mouth/throat/whisker area. This cat clock does not implement any of them. First of all, I expected nice sweet meows, spaced by like, at least a one second gap, maybe some purring, and then maybe after 5 snoozes I'd hear the actual schizo meow that the makers of this cat clock chose. Therefore, I deduce that this cat clock was made by a cat hater in China, and that I rather wake up to the sound of my cat farting.
