(More customer reviews)This clock is supposed to be for those with poor vision, so you would think the designers would have assumed that the user would touch the front panel a lot, feeling around for the button which activates the voice. One wonders what idiot decided to put three little multi-function buttons right there where they can be accidentally activated. My 95 year old mother is constantly setting the alarm or making some other change by accident, and I have to keep reseting the thing for her. Would it have killed somebody for them to put the little "set" buttons on the back, put a cover over them, or in some other way make sure that they would not be unintentionally touched? I also do not think it was necessary for there to be so many fancy options, (like four different "alarm" sounds) which just makes the thing complicated to set, adjust, and use. A male voice, rather than a female one would also have been helpful, since older people lose hearing in the high pitched ranges. This clock is a wonderful concept which has simply not been thought through in its execution.
