(More customer reviews)I bought this alarm clock to replace another one I had used for nearly 10 years before it finally died. At first this one was okay, but I wasn't crazy about it. It tries to automatically help you with DST switches, but apparently it was programmed before they changed the dates because it wouldn't switch on the right dates (and yes, I had the calendar set up right). More accurately, it wouldn't switch so I would manually switch it and then later on my clock would move forward or backwards an hour on its own! I was late to work one day because of this! Just let the user be responsible for changing the time, trying to help will only lead to problems!
Also, it has an auto-dim feature for day/night, but after a year it seemed to be permanently stuck in the night mode. It's so bad that in the morning I can't even read the display! I may have just gotten unlucky with this one, but I would steer clear of it anyway.
