(More customer reviews)I bought the Seiko alarm clock first, an indulgence at $45. But despite being near perfect in every respect the alarm was too loud. So I donated it to my son.
This was the replacement -- handsome, functional, but ticking so loud that my wife moved it quickly into my bureau drawer. I returned it after one night.
I replaced this with the Chaney Instruments Sydney Alarm clock. Not perfect, but much quieter, the alarm is subtle, and it's inexpensive. Definitely a trade up from this.
