(More customer reviews)This is a battery-operated only clock. From the description, I thought it could either be plugged in or run on batteries. Also, the display only lights up when you push the backlight button. Therefore, you can't see what time it is in the dark without fumbling for a button. The clock does set the time itself and shows indoor temperature as well. I kept it to avoid the hassle of sending it back, but it could have been better described.
