It's worth buying only at the low price it's recenly been offered at.
Allows MP3 line in - but volume is too quiet and clips if you turn your mp3 player up too much
2 full range speakers are good - but not stereo and don't have enough high range. Or I am going deaf.
Voice command is bad and gets in the way but can be turned off - though if you press SNOOZE for too short a time, you get a loud voice saying WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU.
FM tuner is better than on my better brand clock radios and is separate from power wire.
AC adapter is plug in, like on most computer equipment these days, not like on most clock radios. It thus runs on 9v dc.
I find the various brightnesses of the LCD screen all wrong - very bright, too bright, off. Give me LED again like in the 1980s.
Power button requires a second or two to respond - it's trying hard to be an input selector too. Case is solid though buttons are not responsive.
In short it's a picture of contemporary design and manufacturing of a store brand product made in China or east Asia. Give companies like Insignia a few more years and they'll probably have a very good product. For now, Sony and the name brands are learning how to manufacturer cheaply but design for user experience better.
Buy if for what lunch at work costs or less...
Good luck!
