The design is light weight & compact with no knobs & buttons to get caught or pulled off in the luggage. The operation of this clock is very straightforward - none of this "press for 3 seconds & then for 2 seconds" nonsense. The alarm is not loud but persistent enough to wake one. Every traveler should have one.
