Good points -
Low price.
Large numerals which can be read from across the room.
Battery operated.
Bad points -
When the battery runs low, the first indication is that the alarm does not sound at all. There is no warning, such as a weak alarm, nor a low battery indicator on the display, just silence when you wanted to be awakened. Imagine your surprise when you realize you have overslept.
Two of the elements in the LCD display have lately begun to fail intermittently. They work for several hours, then do not work at all for several hours, so time-telling becomes time-guessing.
I suppose I should not have expected much of a cheap alarm clock, but I tend to feel that one should make a reliable product, and charge whatever is necessary, or not make the product at all. Although I got 4 years' use from the clock, I would not buy another.

The clock features fun translucent blue and clear casing. On its LCD, the clock relates the time in 1-inch-high black digits.
