(More customer reviews)We've had two of these products for the past three years. They perform well, do the job, and for 10 bucks, I think they are a good deal. I've read the other reviews, but our experience with the 40001 alarm has been good--I've carried this with me on travel, and never missed an appointment.

For the exact time and indoor temperature while on the road, Equity by La Crosse offers this travel alarm clock with Insta-Set technology. An internal memory chip automatically sets the clock to the proper time based on the time-zone setting. Accommodating Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones, the user sets the clock's time zone setting on the unit's backside. The clock's white-backlit LCD screen relates the time, the indoor temperature to a tenth of a degree Fahrenheit, and the month and day. To distinguish between the hours before and after noon, the clock features a PM indicator. A bell icon signifies that the clock's alarm is on. For slow risers, the clock offers a snooze function for temporary alarm silencing. The clock requires the separate purchase of two AAA batteries for operation. The alarm measures 3 inches wide by 1-1/2 inches deep by 4 inches high, and weighs 1 pound upon shipping.
