(More customer reviews)I bought this travel alarm clock about 1 year ago. I wanted a clock that does not rely on batteries. This Bulova has long hands that make it easy to read and set accurately, especially the alarm. I haven't had any problem with the hardshell case; however, the pin that holds the clock inside the case has backed out several times. Something has happened to the winding mechanism. The clock originally ran for 30 some hours on a single winding. Now it runs about 12 hours and sometimes less. This clock replaced a similar Bulova that worked fine for about 20 years. I guess they don't make things like they use to make them. I wouldn't buy this clock again.
