After "charging" in bright light for 5 min. or longer, the dial was barely readable in pitch dark (as in a bed room at night). Not as expected! Pathetic, might be accurate. Misleading... at least.

Wake up to the loud beep of this quartz alarm clock. From Equity by La Crosse, the bedside alarm clock features a white casing around its classic analog dial. The clock numbers are outlined in black with luminous interiors for increased visibility when checking the time at night. Likewise, the black hour and minute hands feature luminous centers. A long, slim red hand ticks off the seconds while a shorter, red hand indicates the alarm's set time. Using the two knobs on the back of the clock, the user sets the time and alarm; a sliding switch turns the alarm on and off. The clock requires the separate purchase of one AA battery. Made in China, a limited manufacturer warranty covers this item. The clock measures 4 inches wide by 2 inches deep by 4-1/2 inches high.
