Quality of build seems good. The brushed aluminum faceplate is nice. LED's aren't too bright or too dim (they are adjustable). Detailed instructions are included.
If you're interested in this clock then you are probably drawn to it for the visual appeal alone. It tells the time. Nothing more, nothing less (no alarm or AM/PM designation). Watching it change every four seconds (can be adjusted) is just fun. Once you get used to it, it's really easy to tell the time at a glance.
The only downsides (and these aren't really negatives) are that it is somewhat small in size and if you have bad eyes you are going to have trouble counting the blocks. Then again...if you have bad eyes you would have trouble with most LED/digital clocks anyways. ;x
This is one of my favorite purchases I've made in quite some time and I highly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)The clock itself came in good condition. However, the arms that stand it up are terrible. After bending them into place I tried to do some more work to try and make it stand better. After bending them a couple more times they lost the ability to hold its form and wouldn't hold the clock anymore. I had to drill and mount the clock onto a block of wood in order to continue using it. Admittedly it looks better, but it should have worked fin out of the box.

(More customer reviews)This clock is great for a quick "binary like" time read. Very hypnotic to watch and a simple yet functional design. Satisfies my love for geeky gadgets.
One thing I wish it had were the instructions etched on the back. (I keep losing my paper ones) and when you unplug it, there is not a cap/bat inside to keep the time long enough to move it or anything without having to reset it. Typical for a clock, but more challenging with this device and no instructions.
Additionally, I personally prefer it in 24 hour mode (aka military) which I can never remember without the instructions. ;)
I've taken a photo of the instructions and have placed a link to them below in case anyone needs it for reference.

(More customer reviews)Love this clock to death! So unique and one handsome little guy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when the time flips over to a new hour, the "00"s flip first on time like they should, but the hour flip is delayed about 15 seconds. Throws you off when it says 1:00 for that 15 seconds when it should say 2:00.
It takes 2 C size batteries, which usually arn't just hanging around the house so don't forget to pick some up!
