(More customer reviews)My son picked this clock over the Darth Vader and Storm Trooper clocks. He saw the Chewy figure and was actually quite decisive for a 5 year old. This was the one.
Thoughts:
This isn't really a play set. It's a plastic clock. My 5 year old knows not to take it off the bed stand and play with it. It could break if played with like regular LEGO bricks.
The clock appears accurate. The alarm is nice. Starts slow and soft and then quickens and grows louder, but never super loud. Very sound sleepers beware. Works fine for my son.
The light is a bit dim but you can clearly read the time.
The extra bricks and mini-figures are toys and can be played with.
My son loves this clock. He's got the Storm Trooper sitting on the clock. The gun emplacement guards his bedroom door from a bookshelf. And he's playing with Chewbacca, building him ships.
The clock is a bit fragile for the LEGO name, but it is a clock, not really a toy. Treat it as such and it works great.
