(More customer reviews)I needed a portable battery powered alarm clock that has an illuminated dial. Chosing this clock was a big mistake. It's time can only be illuminated by pressing one of several confusing un-labeled buttons TWICE, so you can't just see the time in a dark room. The alarm mechanism has mal-functioned on several occasions, usually at the worst time. The "nature sounds" are actually cheap sounding and annoying. The badly translated directions are worthless. This is the perfect gift for someone you detest.
