(More customer reviews)I purchased this toy after my daughter had seen the commercial for the umpteenth time. After tax and shipping the item cost $30.xx. It was shipped promptly and delivered within days of the order.
The commercial makes it look as if the metal objects are somewhat thick and durable but the items that float based on static are thinner than tissue paper. The foil like items come flattened out and put into a paper book. Some of the items tear before you even have a chance to use them. Others are too large and heavy to be kept afloat in the air. Within 10 minutes of playing with it we had to throw away 2 butterflys and 3 other items. I realized quickly that these foils needed a delicate touch even to remove them from the book. I ripped two myself. Even when you do get them to float if they fall they are filled with static and it clings to itself, your clothes, drapes, and the wand. So you spend more time untangling and trying not to rip these things rather than playing with them. Once these foils have static they tend to cling to anything including the wand and if you have the wand on and touch the foil you will get a static shock. This toy is not recommended to be used around TVs or computers because it creates static. I would not recommend wasting your money on this toy the only educational value it provides is don't believe everything you see on tv or you'll end up wasting your money.
