It's not clear to me why Amazon is charging $100 more for this unit than other outlets like BJs ($39.99), but that aside, this is a great little clock radio (at the lower price). It's compact & versatile, the sound is excellent, it's easy to program and it looks pretty cool too!
My three minor nits are as follows. First, it would be nice if there was more than one selectable alarm setting (e.g., time #1, time #2). My old clock radio had two alarms you could set, and that was handy. Second, the display is nicely "dimmable", so it doesn't light up the entire room at night when all the lights are off, but if you're off-angle across the room (e.g., in bed?), the numbers are impossible to read even as large as they are (it's an LCD thing). Third, it would have been nice if the programmers had let one set of buttons adjust minutes and the other set, hours. Holding the time adjust button down to change the time by an hour or two is kind of a pain. Thank goodness I don't need to do that too much.
Otherwise - great clock/CD/radio! You'll like it. But be sure to shop around for the right price.
