Alas, the clock I got had a problem, which forces me to return it: after two days of work, I was awaken by a loud buzzing noise coming from a power supply.
There are some specifics that you may want to consider:
1) this not a true large LEDs, rather, each digit segment made of 2 regular LEDs behind defusing plastic. Resulting light is uneven, and makes it slightly harder to read (although you cannot see this on a product photo).
2) which brings next point - This is large digits clock, but this is somewhat contrary to design of its controls, which are small but noisy buttons on top the clock (snooze/calendar, dim, set, timer, +/-). There is no auto-switching of calendar or dimming.
3) There is a button on top of the clock that changes light intensity. Unfortunately, dim intensity level was chosen not very well - face is not readable unless viewed in complete darkness. If clock is to be used during daytime, and switch button is not handy, you will have to use high-intensity light at all times. It's a bit bright at night.
