(More customer reviews)Nicely made (in China with a German movement) Braun Voice Control alarm clock. I don't have an original clock, so I can not tell how similar this is to the original production version. Markings/font seems to be reasonably accurate to vintage Braun clocks I have. I bought the white; it has an attractive lightly textured molded plastic body. Very quiet movement. No cover to protect the clear bezel while traveling as on some Braun "travel" alarm clocks. Spring loaded on/off bar at top. Alarm increases in intensity as it stays on (very similar to old Braun alarms). Snooze function is by voice control (not a button) you talk or clap towards the clock's sensor to use the snooze. I just got this, and it seems to work OK....will post an update once I use it more. Packaging recalls current Braun shavers. A Duracell AA battery is included. This clock is not made by Braun, but under license. See site braun-clocks.com for more information. Seems a bit pricey, but I'm happy to add it to my collection of Braun clocks. Service from seller "architectus" was excellent.

Well, I've been using the clock as intended. The alarm function works fine, and from my experience the voice control function to activate the snooze alarm seems to recognize claps better than spoken words. But either works, and if I clap it will almost always activate snooze on the first try.
