Having a clock running on an item that is mostly for emergencies just means that the batteries are going to be less effective than I want them to be. Crank lever improvement in design but radio still to easy to turn on by accident.

(More customer reviews)...but then, we're easily amused. We have several squeeze- and crank-type flashlights. A seriously good idea for when the power goes out--no batteries to die or leak. We like this one particularly because it's the only one we've found that has a square case--it stands up for hands-free use. Duh, manufacturers. Are you listening?
